This Leica IIIb (Silver), #288371, is in good condition with some handling wear. I rate it cosmetically an (8+). The camera is in proper working order; film advances properly, the viewfinder is clear, the shutter is accurate at all speeds, and the rangefinder is accurate, although a bit dim. The included Leica 5cm f3.5 Elmar lens, #746020, is in similar condition, also rated an (8+). The lens extends and retracts and the focus ring is smooth, but the aperture tab is a bit stiff. The aperture functions properly, and the glass is clean and clear with no haze, marks, or fungus. There are a few faint specks of dust inside, but they do not affect image quality. The body and lens were serviced by DAG in 2024. It comes as-is with no lens caps or body cap. Please refer to the photos for details.
