The camera has been overhauled by DAG Camera in November 2025 and is in proper working order. Film advances properly, the viewfinder is clean and clear, the shutter is accurate at all speeds, the meter functions, and the battery compartment is corrosion free. The rangefinder is bright and accurate, and the frame lines are bright. This camera uses either one (1) 3V battery or two (2) 1.5V batteries (not included.) The included 50mm f1.4 Summilux-M, #3481956, is in similar condition, also rated at a (9+.) The lens has also been overhauled by DAG Camera in November 2025. The focusing ring and aperture ring are both smooth, and the aperture functions correctly. The glass is clean and clear with no marks, haze, or fungus. This camera was made to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Leica and includes the special presentation case. No lens caps or body caps are included.
