Maintenance Tips
  • Clean Connections & Cables: Periodically wipe AC input and DC output leads, terminals, and strain reliefs to remove dust and corrosion for secure, low‑resistance contact.
  • Ensure Ventilation: Mount the unit in a dry, ventilated space with clearance around all heat‑sink sides to support its tri‑surface cooling design and prevent overheating.
  • Inspect Wiring & Strain Reliefs: Check AC/DC wiring, molded strain reliefs, and splitters for cracks, frays, or corrosion; repair or replace damaged parts promptly.
  • Monitor LEDs & Status Indicators: Use the fuel‑gauge style charge completion and fault LEDs to verify proper charging cycles and catch wiring/battery issues early.
  • Keep Dry & Corrosion‑Free: Avoid direct water spray on the unit; wipe off moisture and apply light corrosion inhibitor to exposed metal contacts if needed.
  • Match Battery Type: Select the correct charge profile (Flooded, AGM, GEL) for your batteries to optimize conditioning and extend their service life
