VENTAHOOD 66" Wall Mounted Euro Style Range Hood - EPTH18366

This Euroline Pro with squared lip is boldly designed to cover light residential, "commercial type" cooking equipment. To order a 27" depth, add an 'X' after 'EP' in the model number. The Euroline Pro Series with Emerald Lip is also available with a 26" wide x 14" deep top to allow for higher CFM requirements . Heat lamps are not available on this model. Click on the models for a list of our base model numbers for standard sizes; simply select the model you need, and then specify the finish [painted, stainless steel, real brass, real copper, or hammered copper]. Recommended mounting height is 30" from the cooking surface. Shown with matching wall mount duct cover [sold separately], available in standard sizes for 8', 9', and 10' ceiling heights or in custom sizes. All Vent-A-Hood products are suitable for use in damp locations [outdoor applications such as a covered patio] when installed in a GFCI protected branch circuit.

What our Experts Think
  • High‑Capacity Euro‑Style Ventilation – The 66″ Wall Mounted Euro Style Range Hood delivers up to ~900–1,200 CFM airflow with dual centrifugal Magic Lung® blowers, handling large cooktops and frequent cooking. Recommended mounting height is ~30″ above the cooktop for optimal capture.

  • Efficient Filterless Grease Capture – The Magic Lung® centrifugal system traps grease and smoke internally instead of using mesh or baffle filters, maintaining strong suction and simplifying cleaning and maintenance.

  • Balanced Noise & Lighting – Integrated LED lighting illuminates the cooktop, while the noise level remains around 6.3–6.6 sones at high speed, balancing powerful extraction with manageable sound.

  • Contemporary Euro Aesthetic – Sleek, modern stainless‑steel design complements contemporary kitchens, providing a premium visual focal point while delivering robust performance.

  • Fire‑Safe & Durable Build – The centrifugal design improves airflow efficiency and offers an inherent fire‑safety advantage, minimizing flame spread into ductwork.

  • Installation & Ducting Tips – For maximum performance, pair the hood with 10″–12″ round ducting and maintain the recommended mounting height (~30″) to ensure efficient capture and strong airflow across wide cooking surfaces.

Maintenance Tips
  • Weekly Exterior Clean: Wipe the stainless‑steel surface with a soft cloth and mild detergent or stainless cleaner, following the grain to protect the finish and remove grease without scratching.

  • Interior Canopy Cleaning: Periodically wipe the interior canopy to remove grease residue that can hinder airflow and efficiency.

  • Grease Filter Care: If equipped with baffle or mesh filters, remove and clean them regularly (e.g., every 1–2 months) by soaking in warm, soapy water or using a dishwasher (if filter type permits). Keeping filters clean helps maintain strong airflow.

  • Fan & Blower Area: With power off, gently wipe around the fan/blower area occasionally to prevent grease buildup and sustain performance.

  • Duct & Vent Inspection: Seasonally inspect ductwork and external vents for blockages to ensure efficient airflow and reduce strain on the blower.

  • Controls & Lights: Clean control panels and light covers with a damp cloth, avoiding excess moisture near electrical parts.
