This Euroline Series with squared lip is a versatile European style hood that can stand alone or be installed between cabinets. Heat lamps are not available on this model. Click on the models for a list of our base model numbers for standard sizes; simply select the model you need, and then specify the finish [painted, stainless steel, real brass, real copper, or hammered copper]. Recommended mounting height is 24" from the cooking surface. Shown with matching wall mount duct cover [sold separately], available in standard sizes for 7', 8', and 9' ceiling heights or in custom sizes. All Vent-A-Hood products are suitable for use in damp locations [outdoor applications such as a covered patio] when installed in a GFCI protected branch circuit.

What our Experts Think
  • Strong mid‑range ventilation — 600 CFM airflow with dual B200 blower effectively handles smoke, steam and everyday cooking odors; equivalent performance ~900 CFM at 0 SP. Recommended 8" round duct for best exhaust performance.

  • Euro style that elevates kitchens — clean, squared canopy design adds a contemporary European flair whether installed standalone or between cabinetry.

  • Quiet yet capable operation — operates around 6.5 sones at high speed, balancing extraction power with manageable noise levels for residential kitchens.

  • Filter‑less centrifugal design — patented Magic Lung blower eliminates conventional filters, improving airflow and simplifying maintenance.

  • Reliable lighting & visibility — integrated halogen/LED lighting enhances cooktop visibility during prep and cooking tasks.

  • Installation‑ready and versatile — 36" width and 21" depth provide broad capture area; recommended mounting height is ~24" above the cooking surface.

  • Durable and adaptable — stainless‑steel finish and solid construction fit modern kitchen aesthetics; suitable for use in damp indoor/outdoor covered spaces when installed with proper protection.

Maintenance Tips
  • Exterior Cleaning Weekly – Wipe the stainless‑steel surface with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or harsh chemicals that can scratch and damage the finish.

  • Interior Canopy Cleaning – Regularly wipe the interior canopy with a mild degreaser or dish soap to remove cooking grease buildup that can reduce airflow and performance.

  • Grease Capture / Filterless Care – This model features a patented filterless design that makes it easier to clean (no traditional filters to wash), but you should still keep surfaces inside clear of heavy grease.

  • Blower & Fan Inspection – At least once a year, inspect and wipe down the blower housing and fan area (power off first) to prevent grease buildup that can affect efficiency.

  • Light Bulb Maintenance – Turn off power and let bulbs cool before replacing; clean light covers to maintain good illumination.

  • Post‑Cooking Ventilation – After heavy cooking, run the hood for a few extra minutes to help clear lingering steam, smoke, and airborne grease before cleaning.

  • Professional Service as Needed – If airflow decreases significantly or unusual noises occur, have a qualified technician inspect and service internal components.
